Each studio album is now available as a stand-alone album, using the latest remastered 2021 recordings from "Brilliant Adventure [1992-2001]", the fifth boxed set of David Bowie's career. Regarding "Buddha in Suburbia," with its ambient and experimental songs, Bowie said in an interview at the time, "This album was the catalyst for me to finally I finally regained my confidence as a writer.
