This is the debut album released in 2001 by Gorillaz, a masked project started by Damon Albarn of Blur, a leading British rock band, and featuring fictional characters. The album was a major breakthrough in the pop scene at the time, with a bold sound that incorporated rap, hip-hop, electro, punk, and even ska.
