Kanda Sorata, a high school sophomore living in "Sakura-so," a den of troublemakers in the school, is pushed around by a bunch of eccentrics and vows to "get out of Sakura-so" every day. Then one day, Mashiro Shiina, a cute, innocent, and world-class painting prodigy, moves into Sakura-so. Sorata thinks that he must protect her from the oddballs in the dormitory. But Mashiro has a terrible secret. She always gets lost when she goes outside, her room is a mess, she can't even choose her own panties, and she can't even put them on! Sorata is appointed as Mashiro's "keeper" by the dormitory students. Thus begins the life of "owner and pet" between an ordinary person, Sorata, and a genius girl, Mashiro...?
