The dramatic storyline of "Lelouch of the Rebellion" is reconstructed with even more speed and sharpness. The famous lines are revived with all new postrecording! Includes the first part of the theatrical version. --The year is 2017 in the imperial calendar. The superpower Holy Britannia Empire has occupied Japan, and Japan is now called "Area 11" and the Japanese are called Eleven, and seven years have passed without their names and freedoms being taken away. Lelouch, a prince of the Britannian Empire who was sent to Japan as a hostage, has been living as a student after the war, hiding his true identity. He is accidentally involved in a battle between the resistance and the Britannian army, and meets a mysterious girl named C.C. Lelouch acquires the power of absolute compliance, called "Geass". With the Geass in his possession, he realizes that the time has finally come to destroy the Britannian Empire, which has abandoned him and his sister Nana Lee.Lelouch, as the masked rebel Zero, leads the Black Knights, a resistance group that is anti-Britannia, and begins his dark activities. Meanwhile, Suzaku Kururugi, who spent time together as a childhood friend, has become a soldier in the Britannian army as an honorary Britannian despite being an Eleven. Selected as the pilot of the new Lancelot weapon, Suzaku becomes a key figure in the Britannian army. Lelouch Zero and Suzaku eventually meet again, unaware of each other's position. The dilemma is that friendship prevents their will to rebel. Now, the wheels of fate are set in motion.
