Koutaro Fukuma's long-awaited recording of "Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1"! During the period when Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall is closed (from January 2021 to October 2010), the concerto series "Yokohama 18 Wards Concert" will tour halls, public halls, and other cultural facilities in each ward of Yokohama City to present concertos with chamber music compositions. The "Yokohama 18 Wards Concert" series is being held in each ward of Yokohama City. This CD is a live recording of a performance by Koutaro Fukuma and members of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra at Salvia Hall, Tsurumi Ward Cultural Center on January 27, 2022. Kotaro Fukuma, a soloist, has released CDs in a wide variety of genres and has performed with many famous orchestras in Japan and abroad, attracting many fans to date. This time, the long-awaited recording of "Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1" with a string quintet of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra's talented members has been completed.The concert was held amidst the effects of the Corona disaster, which limited the number of seats in the auditorium, and the audience was deeply moved by the lyrical world of Chopin, which the soloists and string quintet members communicated with each other and expressed with rich empathy.
