Monteverdi, Claudio (1567-1643)

Description:

The instrumentalists join in to create a spectacular world! Volume 7 of Monteverdi's Madrigale collection with the exquisite voice of La Fonteverde! La Fonteverde is a full-fledged vocal ensemble formed around Mitori Suzuki. The ensemble is now releasing "Volume 7" of its ongoing recording of Monteverdi's Madrigale! This major project, the first of its kind by a Japanese composer and a rare experiment rarely attempted in Europe, focuses on the composer's growth and changes in style, following the life of Monteverdi as the project progresses. The life work of the composer, known exclusively for his operas and other large-scale works, which took half a century to complete, is now echoed in this volume! Monteverdi was a composer who dominated the world with operas such as "Orfeo" and "The Crowning of Poppea" and opened the door to the Baroque era. However, his life's work was madrigale, which was popular throughout Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries, and from the first volume of madrigale published in 1587 to the eighth volume in 1638, he spent half a century in its creation, pursuing new compositional techniques and styles. He spent half a century in the pursuit of new compositional techniques and styles. The "Concerto.Volume 7" (1619), titled "Songs in One, Two, Three, Four, Six, and Other Kinds," is a lengthy collection of 31 songs with a full complement of instrumental music and an even more spectacular world!
