This is the official cassette tape reissue of the 1975 Hawaiian lounge and exotica masterpiece by Arthur Lyman, a jazz vibraphonist and marimba player from Kauai, Hawaii, who, along with Martin Denny and Les Baxter, is considered the "King of Lounge Music" and a master of the modernized Polynesian music style known as "exotica". This late in his discography, Arthur Lyman's pop-oriented album features his daughter Kapiolani on vocals, and is a popular release with a soft breeze of Hawaiian lounge music. The album features 12 tracks, including "Gingele," a fantastic lounge-style cover of Astrud Gilberto's jazz samba classic, and the exotic "Mystic Island," with its birdsong, monkey calls, guiro, vibraslap, and more. This is an official cassette tape reissue limited to 100 pieces, produced in Japan.
