Description:

The last TV appearance of the Folk period at the BBC in the UK, recorded live! From the "ROCK OFF" series by Eternal Grooves! This is the last live performance of Dylan's folk period, recorded the day before he left the U.K. on June 1, 1965. The show was broadcast on TV for two weeks on June 19 and 26, 1965. However, the key footage of the TV broadcast has been destroyed, and we will never be able to see it again. As for the sound source, an obscure aircheck recording called "offline," in which fans themselves recorded the sound from the TV speakers, had been circulating as a pirate copy since the 1970s. After this recording, Dylan returned to the U.S. and recorded "Like A Rolling Stone," accelerating his shift to folk rock. This show is a turning point in the history of rock music, and the content is truly interesting. The first song is "The Ballad of Hollis Brown," a protest folk song that was never performed during the last one-month-long UK tour, followed by "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll" and "Spanish Skin Boots," as if the band had decided to part ways with folk music. It is astonishing. Of course, you can't miss the sharpened knife-like "It's All Right Ma," "Mr. Tambourine Man," and "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" from the latest album "Bling It All Back Home," which is a god-like performance unique to this period. It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" and "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. "Mr. Tambourine Man, sing me, I'll follow you. " " The street once was only acoustic guitar, harmonica, and Dylan's wrinkled voice, too desolate to dream. The version of Dylan's playing that can be heard here is just divine. Perhaps the man with the tambourine is Dylan himself. Dylan is sometimes described as mumbling verses without a melody, and not really sounding like a song, but the rhythm of the words, the way he cuts the notes, and the "pauses" before the next phrase. The more one listens to his songs, the more one realizes that he has already reached the realm of cunning in his debut album. This is Dylan's last live performance of 12 songs, which can be regarded as the culmination of his career as a folk singer. As a bonus, two songs from the Manchester show on May 7, "The Times They Are a-Changin'" and "Don't Worry, Don't Worry" are included from the previous UK tour. Includes Japanese liner notes on the situation, episodes, song titles, etc. Jacket with licensed photos by Getty Images Japan.
