John Thomas: Complete Duets for Harp and Piano, Vol. 4 John Thomas, a native of Wales, was one of the most admired harpists and composers of the late 18th century. He served as Queen Victoria's personal harpist and was widely loved for his refined technique. This fourth collection includes a paraphrase of a melody from Maia Behr's popular opera "Dinora" and Bellini's "Norma", "Kuchizuke", a march-like arrangement of a well-known Italian song cycle by Arditi, and Thomas' own Andantino from the harp concerto, arranged for piano and harp.
