Description:

The Cavalera brothers, Max and Igor, have re-recorded two of Sepultura's early masterpieces! The primitive spirit that influenced black metal so much has been preserved, but with the use of modern recording technology, the brutality has been doubled, which is a miracle! Includes previously unreleased bonus tracks. Sepultura is a band that has been known to extreme metal fans since the late 80's and 90's with albums such as "Schizophrenia", "Beneath the Remains", "Chaos A.D.", "Roots", etc. The Brazilian band led the two genres of death metal and nu metal with their "Schizophrenia," "Beneath the Remains," "Chaos A.D.," and "Roots" albums from the 1960s to the 1990s. The speed, primitiveness, and evil of "Bestial Devastation" (split with Overdose) in 1985 and their debut album "Morbid Visions" in 1986 were unmatched by North American or European bands. The speed, primitiveness, and ebullience of the band's 1986 debut album, "Morbid Visions," were unmatched by any North American or European band. At the time, metal maniacs from all over the world sought out these records. In fact, many still consider these two albums to be Sepultura's best. The Cavalera brothers, Max (G,Vo) and Igor (Dr), have now re-recorded these two albums and released them to the world once again. The concept behind the re-recordings was to "keep the roughness and timeless spirit of the band's music, but with modern sound quality. As the band claims, the sound has indeed been improved, but the brutal sound is twice as great as the original, a miraculous result! The band's keen eye for reaching blast beats in 1985 is simply astonishing. Includes a previously unreleased bonus track! Members] Max Cavalera (guitar, vocals) Igor Cavalera (drums)
