Description:

<All Days Records - Paper Jacket with Obi Commentary - Imported Version>All Days selects good music imports from all over the world and releases them with domestic specs! This special release from the well-known Taiwanese reissue label "ONCE MORE MUSIC" comes with All Days Records' well-known paper jacket and obi commentary! A Long Time Comin" was released in 1968, the year after the release of the soundtrack for Roger Corman's acid-movie film "The Trip". This is the first original Electric Flag album released in 1968, the year after the release of the soundtrack to the original acid-moovie film "The Trip" directed by Roger Corman. The band is led by guitarist Mike Bloomfield, who played in Bob Dylan sessions and with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and drummer Buddy Miles, known for his work with Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsies. The band was also the pioneer of a super band that included popular musicians such as Nick Gravenites, Barry Goldberg, and Harvey Brooks. The album is a historical masterpiece, featuring a wide variety of songs, including blues covers, soul, jazz, rock, country, and other popular American music, all of which they tried to cook up in their own unique way. The second album was released in 1968, the same year as the release of the first album, after Barry Goldberg and Mike Bloomfield left the band. This album, produced mainly by Buddy Miles, has a strong soul-jazz flavor, perhaps due to the absence of Bloomfield, who has a strong blues flavor. It can be considered a pioneering brass rock/jazz rock album that stands out for its combination of a thick horn section and a strong rhythm section. Includes obi commentary, domestic distribution specs, imported edition commentary by Hirokazu Yakame
