Recordings from the heyday of Lili Bonisch, a popular singer who made Arabic andalous music known to the world! This album contains 10 recordings from the original masters, made in 1958, when he was in his 30s, at Harmar studio owned by Disques Dounia in Paris. These recordings were purchased by Michel Levy, the owner of the MLP label in the 1990s, and Michel has decided to release them as a new release on the ELMIR label, of which he is now one of the presidents. The music here includes tango, chanson, waltz, Latin, and other styles of music, as well as his own originals and folklore, accompanied by orchestra and piano. The chaotic sound of the time is filled with arabic tastes, and his personality shines through in many places. Of course, the sound quality is excellent as it is from the original master, and it has been remastered to sound like it was recorded in 2024. (C)RS
