The concertmaster of the ensemble, Felix Ajaudhio, passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 90. This is the first complete release on the Spectrum Sound label in Ajaud's honor. Ayo was one of the founding members of the Lee Musici Ensemble. The ensemble was founded in 1951 by 12 graduates of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and made its debut in 1952. Aiyo was the first concertmaster of the group for 16 years after its debut. He was not only the face of the ensemble, but also a renowned violinist who captivated audiences. The Lee Musici Ensemble became well known for its recording of "The Four Seasons," which was recorded twice in the 1950s, the first time being a live recording at the Manton Music Festival on August 13, 1959.
