They gained a following in the mid 90's and early 2000's through releases on popular labels such as Underground Resistance, Reflex, and Warp. Neptune's Lair" is their first album, released in 1999 on the German Tresor label. It is a commemorative work that marks the first album to bring to fruition the trials of a pioneer who, ahead of his time, was working on a modern update of the electro sound, combining the essence of Kraftwerk with deep-sea and dystopian motifs. A quarter of a century has passed since the original release, but the rhythms, tones, and aura it exudes are all still fresh! The new artwork is by Detroit contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison. Other Drexia-related works, including the second album "Harnessed The Storm" and works under the name Shifted Phases, will be reissued by Tresor in the near future!
