The 2nd and 4th albums of this mixed-male/female folk group, which had a wide range of musical styles and produced a variety of talents, are happily reissued as a coupling. The 2nd album with Van Dyke features beautiful harmonies, M-6, which was also covered by the Four Seasons, and M-12, a bossa nova song. M-18 with a beautiful melody, M-19 written by Fred Neil, and M-21 with an unforgettable Orientalism are all good songs for pop music fans.The highlight is the nostalgic number M-16, which Van Dyk (who left the group for the 4th album) would later record as an unforgettable masterpiece.
