Just as the 1960's saw a flood of Japanese pop divas singing in Japan, so too did France produce a number of idols and famous covers. This disc is a collection of French covers of American and British hit songs by the Ye Ye Girls, including Sylvie Vartan and France Gal. Familiar songs such as M-1, M-3 by the Ronettes, and M-8 by Nancy Sinatra, which were featured on "Matsuko's Unknown World," can be enjoyed with a cute flavor and good arrangements that only French pop can provide. Disc-2 contains the original songs and other versions by American and British artists in the same order as Disc-1, so you can compare your favorite singers!
