This is a complete reissue of "The Buddy Holly Story" Vol.1 and Vol.2, which were released on Coral Records shortly after Buddy Holly's death. It is a must-listen album full of representative songs that colored the history of rock and roll, including standard numbers such as M3 and M7, M19, which is not included on the album, and M13, which was later used as a motif for the movie of the same name. The six songs on Vol. 2, which were the talk of the town at the time of its release, include rare takes of demo recordings of the band's last album, which were overdubbed by producer Norman Petty and others to complete the album.
