In the mid-to-late 2000s, the dancehall scene was in a period of chaos and acceleration: Alliance, led by Bounty Killer, was at its peak, while its core member, Vybz Kartel, suddenly left the scene. The "Gully vs. Gaza" structure that began there became a huge swell that split the reggae scene in two, and developed into the fatal confrontation of Mavado vs. Kartel. In addition, a new generation of artists specializing in melodious flows with auto-tune emerged one after another, producing numerous hit songs. Meanwhile, the Japanese reggae scene continued to expand, with reggae festivals taking place all over the country, drawing crowds that were once unthinkable. In the midst of all this, RED SPIDER began "Emergency," a one-man dance that would become the "mainstream" of their subsequent activities. They also released "Bakusan Angel," which was an unprecedentedly big hit as a sound piece, and grew to become a prominent presence in the sound scene. This work is a reconstruction of the music released from 2006 to 2008, which was such a turning point, with 50 tracks and 28 riddims, all of which are of course dubplates. Relive the moment when times change.
