Soundtrack of the 2024 summer special exhibition "Manyo Hikika" (sponsored by the Heijo Palace Site Administration Center and the Independent Administrative Institution National Research Institute for Cultural Properties, Nara) held at the Heijo Palace Isainaikan. The dolls, created by Taku Nagase, depict historical figures and mythological gods from the Asuka to Nara periods. As part of the exhibition and production based on these figures and their historical backgrounds, pianist and composer Sakakibara Akiko was in charge of the music, which was written using musical instruments such as the koto (a reconstructed instrument) thought to have been played at the site at that time and the sound of the 8th century bronze bell itself, which was excavated.
