The Italian melodic hard jockeys, Perfect Vue, have been creating songs that touch the hearts of melodicists around the world since their debut in 2010. After a four-year hiatus since the release of the melodic hard masterpiece "Timeless" in 2018, the band is finally releasing its fourth new album! The next step for guitarist Francesco "Joe" Cataldo, the only original member, leader, and creator of the band, was to make a concept album about Samurai, a Japanese culture they have long admired and deeply respected. Frank Paulis, the band's bassist and Francesco's good buddy, came up with the concept of the story, and Francesco created the lyrics and music. Frank was also in charge of the artwork for the album.Three new members have joined the band for this album, and singer Damiano Livianchi, in particular, makes a wonderful contribution to the album's sensitive themes with his superb singing and expression! The story of the album is the great story of a young man who studies martial arts and academics to master Bushido, focusing on the spirituality of Bushido, and skillfully depicting the conflicts and psychological aspects of Bushido, while also weaving in elements of fantasy. Along with the album's theme, the songs are a big surprise to fans of the previous albums. It is worth mentioning that the songs on the album have shifted from the somewhat sweet melodic hard tunes of the past to "powerful" melodies that convey power, passion, and melancholy. Moreover, there is no hint of Japanese flavor in the music itself. Melodic fans who had a bad feeling about this album can feel relieved. Francesco says, "I paid attention to every detail of this album, from the lyrics and composition to the arrangements and sound. Nothing is left to chance. You can listen to it over and over again, because every time you listen to it you discover something new.I am proud to say that I have created such an album!" This Japanese edition includes an even more conceptual bonus track "Life" at the end of the regular tracks! It is a wonderful gift to Japanese fans.
