Opus One" is a label that produces "Opus One", which means "Opus 1", and has selected artists without being restricted by specific competition records or activity records. As a label that serves as a gateway to success for young artists, Opus One produces and supports the activities of artists who have taken off from Opus One, and each has made their own mark on the current classical music scene. The fifth student is countertenor Seiichi Uemura. Currently 26 years old, Uemura completed his studies at Kunitachi College of Music and graduate school with high honors, and was the first countertenor in history to win first prize at the Japan Music Competition (student division). His soft and beautiful sound, which cannot be imagined from his unique appearance, has both maternal and masculine qualities that envelop the heart of the listener. The collection includes pieces from the late Middle Ages to contemporary music. The visual supervisor is author and producer Reiko Yuyama.
