The album features David Gilmour and Nick Mason, along with such stellar guests as Jim Keltner, Tony Levin, and Bill Payne. Writers include Anthony Moore and Phil Manzanera. Despite the wide variety of songs on the album, Gilmour and co-producer Bob Ezrin's sound production brings a sense of unity to the album. The spectacular cover, shot on a beach with real beds, is by Storm Torgerson, formerly of Hypnosis.
