This is the fourth album by Morgan Guerin, just 25 years old, who has participated in many high-profile releases including Esperanza Spalding and Terri Lynn Carrington & Social Science, and is featured in various media as "the future of jazz"! As a multi-instrumentalist, he plays most instruments including saxophone, bass, drums, and keyboards, and features vocalists such as J. Hoard, Kocai, Deb Ray, and his brother Chase Guerin. The group transcends genre boundaries to deliver experimental new jazz, including improvised jazz, fusion, hip-hop, R&B, and EDM. Morgan Guerin was born in 1998 in Metairie, Louisiana. Raised in a musical family where his mother is a pianist and father is a bassist, he picked up drums at age 2, saxophone by age 6, and later mastered piano and bass.He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2014 and performed at the Monterey Jazz Fest in 2015.In 2016, he moved to New York City to study at the New School of Contemporary Music and released his first album "The Saga" in the same year, "The Saga II" in 2017, and the culmination "The Saga III" in 2020. He has been featured in Downbeat Magazine's "25 People Who Will Lead the Future of Jazz" as well as in the New York Times and many other media as an artist to watch. He has also been featured as a multi-instrumentalist on Esperanza Spalding's Grammy-winning album 12 Little Spells (2018), Terri Lynn Carrington & Social Science's Waiting Game (2019), Nicholas Payton, Christian Scott, He has made his presence felt on albums by top NY Jazz musicians such as Kassa Overall.
