The latest work by acclaimed bluegrass and Americana singer/songwriter Eefa O'Donovan, following Age of Apathy, which was nominated for three Grammy Awards in 2023. The songs on the album are written about women's rights from a contemporary perspective based on her own experiences, skillfully incorporating actual speeches and letters on the subject of women's suffrage. The album also features guest artists from a variety of genres, including country, jazz, and classical, such as Anais Mitchell, Sierra Hull, the Westerlies, the Knights, and the SF Girls Choir, to create a new sound. Eefa O'Donovan was born in Massachusetts in 1982 and joined the Bluegrass Power Quintet at age 17. Her first recording was with the Wayfaring Strangers' "This Train" (2003). In parallel, he played in the bluegrass band Krukid Still, which released "Hop High" in 2004. He released music consistently, but went on hiatus in 2011. He then released his first single "Blue Light" as a solo artist. He also sang vocals on the album "The Goat Rodeo Sessions" with Yo-Yo Ma and Chris Cirilli.She released her first album "Fossils" on YepRoc in '13 and "In the Magic Hour" in '16, came to Japan in '15 as the unit I'm With Her with Sara Watkins and Sarah Jarrows, and released the album "See You Around" was released in '19, and the single "Call My Name" in '19 also won a Grammy for American Rootsong; in '20, he released the EP "Bull Frogs Croon" and in '22, "Age of Apathy" was released and was nominated for a Grammy.
