At just 21 years old, Allie Venable is arguably the best young blues guitar woman in the world. With her last album reaching #2 on Billboard, her new album features a highly anticipated lineup of guests Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Divon Allman, as well as Grammy winner Jim Gaines on production. The songs on the album include a collection of highly accomplished originals, two songs co-written with Lance Lopez, now one of Texas' leading guitarists, and songs by Bill Withers and Bessie Smith, all with superb guitar and vocals. Allie Venable was born in Texas in 1999. She sang in church from an early age and picked up the guitar after admiring blues-rock guitarists such as local heroes Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Gales, and Lance Lopez. She has been performing on stage since she was 12 years old, leading the Ally Venable Band and performing at clubs and other venues. She quickly became the talk of the town for her guitar prodigy, winning the 2014 and 2015 Female Guitar Player of the Year at the local ETX Music Awards, even though she had not yet released an album. Her 2016 debut, "No Glass Shoes," also won Best Album at the ETX Music Awards, and her 2018 sophomore effort, "Puppet Show," debuted at #7 on the Billboard Blues Chart.He also reached #9 on the iTunes Blues Chart and was acclaimed in various media as a newcomer to the future of the blues.In 2019, he signed with RUF Records. He was selected for the Blues Caravan Tour, a gateway to success for newcomers, and his third album, "Texas Honey," also reached #2 on Billboard.
