Samantha Fish, currently the most popular blues guitar woman in the world, is releasing a new original album in just six months, while her cover collection "Chills & Fever" is still going strong! Produced by Luther Dickinson of the North Mississippi All-Stars, the album delivers folky, organic blues in the Mississippi Delta style! Participating members include Tikila Jackson (drums & vo) of Southern Avenue, who made her debut on Stax, and Jack White's treasured daughter, Lillie Mae (violin & vo), and other superb musicians. Samantha Fish was born in 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.A. She independently released "Live Bait" at the age of 18. She then signed with RUF Records in Germany and released "Girls with Guitars" in 2011 with Danny Wild and Kathy Taylor. With the album, they toured Europe and the United States on the "Blues Caravan Tour 2011," making their name known to blues listeners around the world. In April of the same year, the long-awaited debut album "Runaway" was released with producer Mike Zito. The album was highly acclaimed and won the "Best New Artist Debut" at the Blues Music Awards in 2012.In 2013, they released their 2ND "Black Wind Howlin'" as early as 2013. In 2015, she released her 3rd album "Wild Heart" with Luther Dickinson as producer, and in 2017, she broke new ground with "Chills & Fever," a collection of old-school R&B covers. She is one of the most promising blues guitar women of the moment.
