This is the second album by Ana Popovic, a blues guitar woman from Yugoslavia in Eastern Europe who has won numerous awards in the USA and Europe, including the 2003 WC Handy Award. This funky blues-rock album features a variety of excellent original songs and covers, from Howlin' Wolf to Donald Fagen, all beautifully arranged and played. The soulful and powerful songs and guitar energy of this female SRV are truly remarkable! Ana Popovic formed her first band "HUSH" (also the title of this album) in Yugoslavia at the age of 19. Only one year later, the band was already popular enough to appear on numerous TV shows in their home country, and performed at various famous clubs and music festivals, including one with Junior Wells. In 1998, he moved his home base to the Netherlands, where he studied guitar in earnest with the aim of further developing his skills.
