Nick Moss, born in Chicago in 1969, began his career as a teenager and joined the Legendary Blues Band in 1993 as a bassist on the album "Money Talks". At the urging of Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, he switched to guitar, backing Smith and Jimmy Rogers. Later, he formed Nick Moss & The Flip Tops and released his first leader album "First Offense" on his own label, Blue Bella, in 1998. Since then, he has consistently released five albums, including live recordings.He has also worked as a producer for Magic Slim and others. In 2018, he signed with Alligator and released "The High Cost of Low Living" featuring harmonica player Dennis Groenling.
