Based on a historical incident that took place in the Shinbashida clan (present-day Shinbashida City, Niigata Prefecture) during the "Boshin War" that took place during the Meiji Restoration, Kazuo Kasahara, screenwriter of the "Battle without Honor" series (1973-) and other works, has created a "death squad" of criminals to defend the fort of the Shinbashida clan. He created a storyline in which the criminals defend the fortress of the Shimbata clan. The film stars Takayuki Yamada and Taiga Nakano as the two main characters, along with a star-studded cast including Ukon Onoe, Riho Shepherd, Amane Okayama, Shuhei Nomura, Takuma Otoo, Hiroshi Tamaki, and Sadao Abe. The film features a splendid cast including Ukon Onoe, Riho Sheyashi, Oyama Tenon, Shuhei Nomura, Takuma Oto, Hiroshi Tamaki and Sadao Abe. The film's music will be composed by Kenta Matsukuma, a well-known music producer of BiSH and others.The music is dynamic and large-scale, with a sense of realism at its peak, and melodious and melancholy.
