Description:

Treasure Ark, a series that selects high-quality live recordings! Michael Jackson's last world tour, "The HIStory World Tour" in Manila, Philippines on December 10, 1996, was recorded for broadcast in the Philippines. From Michael Jackson's "The HIStory World Tour", the concert in Manila, Philippines on December 10, 1996 was recorded. Michael was facing a lot of bashing and headwinds during this period due to the child sexual abuse issue, and his new album "HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I" released in 1995, which was a coupling of a new album and a best-of album, was a huge hit all over the world. The singles cut from the album were also big hits all over the world. The tour that started with this album played 82 shows in 35 countries and resulted in the last tour, which started on September 7, 1996 in Prague, Czech Republic, and traveled through Eastern Europe, Asia, and Oceania, ending the first leg in the Philippines, Japan, and Hawaii. After an interval of about five months, the tour continued through Europe, ending in Durban, South Africa on October 15, 1997. Michael's shows often continue to feature the same members, perhaps because of the emphasis on teamwork, and seven members, including Jennifer Button, the female guitarist who is Michael's signature on stage, are the same as in the previous "Dangeroud Tour. David Williams, the original guitarist for "Thriller" and "Billie Jean," is a longtime friend of the band.Newly joined are Jonathan Moffett (ds), a touring member from the Jacksons' days, and master session man Freddie Washington (b). The absence of Greg Philingains and Saida Garrett is a departure from the Quincy Jones regime. The setlist consisted of singles from the new album and past big hits, with something for everyone. It was a concert that showed the true face of a superstar.
