Toronto-born singer/songwriter Kathy Young, who later won the Juno Award, also known as the Canadian Academy Award, released her memorable debut album at the age of 18. Her mellow originals also showcase the singer's personality, and her R&B/blues leanings show a hint of Laura Nyro's influence. Backing Eric Weisberg (g) and Don Payne (b), who later joined Thomas Jefferson Kay's White Cloud.
