The second album (1976) was a departure from the first, which was self-recorded, and was oriented toward a band sound. One of the concepts Llewyn had set up here was the British folk-rock duo John and Beverly Martin, and the duo's American/Woodstock recording "Stormbringer" (1970), a collaboration with local musicians such as Paul Harris, Livon Helm, and John Simon, was a fusion of the nostalgia of American roots music and the lyricism of British folk.
