Joe Vana's music career got its start with a chance meeting with Survivor's Jim Peatrick. Jim taught him everything he knew about music and the music business, and over the years he became Jim's resident demo singer, and eventually Joe and Jim formed Mecca to realize their vision of forming a band. The band made its debut in 2002 with the self-titled album "Mecca," released on AVALON. The members of the band at that time were David Hungate (B) [ex-TOTO], Fergie Frederickson (Vo) [ex-TOTO], Joe Vana (Vo), Shannon Forrest (Dr), Mike Aquino (G), and Jimmy Nicholas (Key). The album became a hot topic among melodic rock/AOR fans at the time. Since then, the band has released "Undeniable" (2011) and "III" (2016), both with Tommy Denander as songwriter, and finally completed their latest studio album, seven years after their last album.This work features Alessandro Del Vecchio as keyboardist and producer, and guest musicians include Tommy Denander, who is well known in Mecca, Stefano Lionetti of Lionville, Pete Alpenborg, and Vivian LaRue on this high quality The result is a melodic album.
