Orquesta De La Luz

Description:

40th Anniversary Album! Orquesta de la Luz, nominated for a Grammy Award in 1995 and still active as one of the world's leading salsa bands, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with an album full of passion and dedication! The album is titled "Mas Caliente" (More Hot) and is full of special collaborations to celebrate the 40th anniversary! First, Tony Succar, a popular young Latin Grammy-winning producer with whom vocalist NORA collaborated last year! He produced the famous Japanese song "Nada Sou Sou," which is popular overseas as well. He produced "Nada Sou Sou," a Japanese classic and popular song overseas, and "Salsa of the Sun," the theme song for "Latin Family People," a collaboration with Makita Gomez (Maki Ohguro) and Rose Toma, which was created at the urging of Maki Ohguro! This album includes the Spanish version. The result is a hot finish. We will continue to promote the "Japan Latinization Project" more and more. Naoto Inti Raymi is expanding overseas. He collaborated with NORA on a duet of the salsa version of "El Japones," which he released four years ago and which has gained popularity on YouTube with 14.12 million views to date! The salsa arrangement produced by Tony Succar is also a must-hear. Yumi Matsutoya, who contributed the song "Taiyo to Kuroi ni Roses (The Sun and the Black Rose)" in 2010, covers "Ano Hi Kaeritai (I Want to Come Back to That Day)," a classic song from her days as Yumi Arai, with a mellow Latin arrangement. This song is a peaceful number among the many bilable songs on this album. The title track "Mas Caliente" is an answer song to the big hit "Salsa Caliente Del Japon" (Hot Salsa from Japan) from their first album, which was No. 1 for 11 weeks on the Billboard Latin Charts in 1990. The song is the quintessential original salsa song with a passionate message from a band that has been active for 40 years! The album was produced by Orquesta de la Luz.The album contains 10 songs + 2 bonus tracks for a total of 12 songs. A well-balanced mix of the members' original songs and cover tunes, along with gorgeous guests, will make the 40th anniversary of the band a spectacular one. Enjoy the worldwide approach of the Dellars, who have many fans overseas as well. <Includes a special 16-page booklet with lyrics (bilingual translation), rare recording shots, and more.
