The album is the result of collaboration and experimentation with a number of fragments of ideas, The result is one of the most emotional masterpieces in the history of Bonobo's career, a fusion of their collaborations and Bonobo's explosive creativity. Comprised of 12 tracks, the album includes some of the hardest and grooviest songs Bonobo has ever made, while a few perfectly placed ballads shine throughout the album, as if to inspire hope in the listener.Musical themes began to form as he explored modular synths, recorded with harpist Lara Somogyi, worked with Miguel Atwood Ferguson, and played Fender Rhodes himself, and the album was recorded and mixed by himself over the course of two years.
