This statement, which Masaaki Kadota posted on his X-account on December 1, 2023, sums up the character of "Pure," his first new album under his real name in 13 years, since "Nobody Knows My Name" was released in 2011. M in 2019, he decided to take a break from his activities as Poet-type. He began working as an outside music director with the motive of "How does the landscape change if you look at the creative industry from a different angle?" and then, after the Corona Disaster coincided with his work, he confirmed "the landscape in which artists redefine their own activities in a more personal way. This led him to the production of his own album.Those who are familiar with Kadota's history of working under various bands and names, such as BURGER NUDS, Good Dog Happy Men, and Poet-type.M, will immediately recognize that this is literally a "pure" album for Kadota.
