The Danel Quartet, which has performed the complete works 34 times, makes its second recording of the "Shostakovich: Complete String Quartets"! The Danel Quartet was founded in 1991 in Brussels, Belgium. The quartet studied with the Amadeus String Quartet, the Borodin String Quartet, and the Beethoven String Quartet, and in 1993 won first prize at the International Shostakovich String Quartet Competition, and has since performed all over the world.
