The heckelforn is an especially rare instrument, with a range one octave lower than that of the oboe, used in operas by R. Strauss and in the "Alpine Symphony," but used as a solo instrument in a concerto is particularly rare. Martin Frutiger's performance of the instrument will allow you to fully appreciate its charms.
