Evgenia Rubinova was born in 1977 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, studied in Moscow under Vladimir Klinev and Alexei Lyubimov, and won the second prize at the 2003 Leeds International Piano Competition. 18 Pieces, Op.72" by Evgenia Rubinova, a pianist who won the second prize at the 2003 Leeds International Piano Competition. Composed six months before his death, this work is so complete and so rich in content that it may be called "Tchaikovsky's last will and testament," and Rubinova breathes new life into it.
