To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of this classic album, a deluxe edition will be released in two formats: a 4-CD set and a 5-LP set. This 50th anniversary edition includes the original album material, plus a 4-channel stereo mix of the 1974 release of the same album, plus two concerts in Montreux and Brussels in 1970. Also included is a hardcover book featuring interviews with all four band members, rare photos, memorabilia, posters, and a replica of the Paranoid Tour tour brochure.The 5LP edition of PARANOID (50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION) includes disc 1, which features the original album remastered in 2012 by Andy Pierce and Matt Wertham. Disc 2 contains a 4-channel stereo mix of the original album based on a 4-channel mix that was originally released on LP and 8-track cartridge in 1974 but has long since been out of print, and a live performance in Montreux, Switzerland on August 31, 1970, just after the album's release, and a live performance a few months later in Bellevue, Switzerland. The second disc contains a 4-channel mixed stereo recording of the 1970 album, and the third disc contains a live performance in Montreux, Switzerland on August 31, 1970, just after the album's release, and a performance for a television program in Brussels, Belgium a few months later. This is the first time that these 1970 live recordings have been released on analog vinyl. (2/2)
