Description:
LP reissue of the only private release from the British obscure blues-rock band from 1971! In the early 70's, the British blues-rock scene was seeking to adapt to the new era with progressive arrangements of the 60's British blues-rock format. This is one of the four members from London who came out in such a situation. Unfortunately, the band was buried in the presence of big names such as CREAM who came out in the same period, but the contents of this album are substantial and highly appreciated by collectors. Earth Harmony" by Hocus Pocus, a four-piece from London, is one such album. The members are Clive Blenkhorn (guitar, vocals), Smith Campbell (bass), Roger Clarke (guitar), and Johnny Miles (drums). The basic sound is orthodox blues rock with twin lead guitars, but the contrast between lyricism and dramatic development based on the flowing guitar ensemble and the harmony-driven vocals have something in common with Wishbone Ash.The progressive numbers also show influences of Black Sabbath and the Groundhogs.
