Mahler: Symphony No. 3 by Metta & Bavarian National Orchestra The latest live performance by Mehta and the Bayerische Staatskapelle at the end of their European tour in 2004. The program of Mahler's Symphony No. 3, which Mehta prepared for the occasion, is also scheduled to be performed in Japan in the fall of 2005. This is Metta's third live recording since the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra (1978; DECCA) and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (1992; SONY).
