Bach, studied under Johann Kuhnau and served as court rector to Johann August (Margrave Anhalt-Zerbst). His works are scattered with extremely advanced techniques, and it is said that J.S. Bach copied many of his works. This album features the world premiere recording of the Serenata "Four Hours of the Day" for four soloists and orchestra, which Fasch is said to have composed for Johann Augustus, with the four soloists playing the roles of the gods Aurora (morning), Hoebs (noon), Hesperus (evening), and Cynthia (night). They take on the roles of.The coupled "Fantasia in F major" is an unusual work requiring two oboes, two flutes, a chalumeau (single reed woodwind instrument) and separate soloists for each movement, and is also a world premiere recording. *Recording: February 18-20, 2023, Martin Church (Mühlheim, Germany) (Tokyo M-Plus)
