Patricia spent most of her childhood with her grandmother in Cameroon, and after a successful career in management consulting, she enrolled in a gospel choir school in Paris. She professes to be influenced by South African singer Miriam Makeba, also known as "Mama Africa," African-American SSW Tracy Chapman, and American jazz/gospel singer Liz Wright.
