Veteran French composer/arranger/flutist Christophe Dal Sasso Live performance of Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals" with big band Christophe dal Sasso, a veteran French arranger/flutist who was named "Group of the Year" at the 2020 Victoires du Jazz, and his big band performed Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals" live. Christophe dal Sasso is one of the finest arrangers in France. After producing four critically acclaimed discs, he has participated in many of the Belmondo brothers' orchestral works. He also orchestrated the music performed by the Ensemble Intercontemporain on the album "Exploration" (2006) with saxophonist David Liebman. in 2021, he recorded a studio performance of John Coltrane's "Africa /Brass" on the JAZZ & PEOPLE label in 2021.
