He studied at the Ecole Normale and the Conservatoire de Geneve in Paris and currently teaches composition and orchestration in Paris. This album contains his orchestral works.Noteworthy is the cello concerto by Emmanuel Bertrand and the piano concerto by Marie-Joseph Jude, who also plays solo. Also, the symphonic study, commissioned by the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra of Bulgaria, is based on the motif Mi-flat-fa-la, which is the sound name for Sofia. Also of interest is the Mandala Symphony, which consists of five chapters: Prajana (Wisdom), Chetana (Will), Kshanti (Insatiability), Vilya (Devotion), and Shanti (Peace). (King International)
