The Modigliani String Quartet has been making its presence felt in recent years with the remarkable emergence of young quartets. The four members, who hit it off at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, began performing together in 2003. Since then, the quartet has been invited to perform in the world's most prestigious halls and music festivals, and has expanded its activities. The new album, recorded in March 2015, features the quartets of Dvořák, Bartók, and Dohnányi, and the quartets of Dvořák, Bartók, and Dohnányi. Dvorak, Bartok, and Dohnányi, and features string quartets by Eastern European composers. String Quartet No. 12 is one of the works Dvořák composed during his three-year stay in the United States.
