Complete Partitas by scholar and virtuoso performer Robert Levin! The complete Bach Partitas by Robert Levin, Mozart scholar and virtuoso pianist (who also plays fortepiano). Levin is a scholar who has revised Mozart's works (restoring a concerto symphony, revising a requiem, and writing a report on a keyboard work that includes performance interpretations), and a virtuoso fortepiano player who has played the complete Mozart piano concertos with Hogwood and the complete Beethoven piano concertos with Gardiner. He is also a virtuoso pianist. As Levin is also a renowned scholar, it is the ornaments that are of interest to him. The Sinfonia at the beginning of Partita No. 2 in C minor is more like an improvisation than an ornamentation. The entire Partita is also included, with different versions of some of the pieces.
