The '23 debut album from Musea Paralelle, an up-and-coming French progressive rock/jazz-rock band formed in 2001 by Christian Laur (g) and Denis Louvel (drs)! The band features a diverse and dynamic instrumental sound that makes full use of acoustic piano, analog synths, Hammond, and even a mellotron-like sound at times, as well as fast-playing hard rock-leaning guitars. The arrangements sometimes have ups and downs in each scene or song, such as in "Colombinae," in which the acoustic guitar played on the track is lyrical, creating a flow of drama throughout the entire album.
