Description:

FLO, the girl trio of Generation Z, is back with a revival of the '90s that has been prominent in the R&B scene as a whole in recent years. The album features many songs from the golden era of female vocal R&B that colored the "those days" of the 90s and still shine brightly today! From the hard-hitting soul and R&B of Janet Jackson's "Control," produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, mixed with 808s and tough shuffles, producer Teddy Riley took these sounds forward in the late 80s and fused them with hip-hop. and fused them with hip-hop. Strange as it may seem now, hip-hop in the 80s was apparently hardly integrated into R&B. Then, in 1989, the Motown-affiliated Good Girls, who aspired to be the Supremes of swing beat, released "Your Sweetness," a hit that catalyzed the girls' R&B boom to explode. And then the 90's! The arrival of Anne Vogue, SWV, Xscape, TLC, and their confidence and style proved that swing beat was not just a genre for boy bands, and a chain reaction of girl groups representing R&B were born one after another. The 90's became the golden age of R&B that is still talked about today! And now that we are happy to see veteran groups such as Neki returning to the scene, this is a good compilation at the right time! In addition to the inclusion of "Your Sweetness" by the Good Girls, which sparked the girls' R&B craze, the 7inch version and Radio Edit version of the song are also included in this gorgeous compilation! With the NewJeans' 2024 album and FLO's big success, the 90's revival is definitely at the center of the R&B scene in recent years, and we hope you will enjoy the origin of it!
